Sauna Suite

Originally a humble outhouse building, the conversion to a luxury suite complete with sauna and cross trainer is quite unexpected. French doors lead to a private flagstone patio with splendid sea views across to Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s holy mountain. Needless to say, even the sauna has a view. It would be tempting to spend an entire holiday in The Sauna Suite itself.

The Sauna Suite is a detached building inside the Lighthouse grounds and is the largest of all our guestrooms. It has timber flooring with underfloor heating and also has a freestanding wood burning stove. A curved turquoise glass wall brings an undersea feeling inside.

Relaxing in the spacious sauna would be a perfect end to a vigorous day hiking around Clare Island. Even when the weather is less than clement, the cross training gym machine helps you to stay fit and healthy.
