Achill View
This splendid room is located at the top of a curved oak stairs in the original Lighthouse Keeper’s Residence. As the name implies, the room commands a panoramic view over the sea to Achill Island through its huge picture windows. Achill Beg Lighthouse, which replaced Clare Island Lighthouse, stands proudly in the distance and is clearly visible from the wrought iron superking-sized bed.
The timber flooring with cosy under-floor heating supplements the warmth from the open fireplace. A pair of art deco armchairs encourage you to sit and linger a while, taking in the ever-changing Mayo skies.
For safety reasons we are unable to light an open fire in this room.
