Dining Room/Library

Leading from the Drawing Room is the Dining Room cum Library which boasts well equipped bookshelves as well as a period mahogany table. A lovely old well-seasoned German piano adds to the “bygone days” atmosphere of this room. This is the main formal dining area, although guests are also welcome to eat at the refectory table in the kitchen if they prefer.

The selection of books is wide, and always expanding. You will find plenty of Clare Island, and indeed Lighthouse related volumes here, as well as an eclectic choice of novels and factual books.
